Ginn Institute for Corporate Social Responsibility

Our Mission is to strengthen and improve our community through passion, awareness and education. We seek to transform the business world by making concern for ethics, social responsibility, social justice, sustainability, and workplace spirituality a priority for students, leaders, and their organizations.

Our Vision is a world where leaders and their organizations anticipate issues of organizational integrity and cultivate cultures that promote ethical responsibility.

At the John M. and Mary Jo Boler College of Business, ethics and social responsibility extends beyond words spoken in the classroom. The Ginn Institute for Corporate Social Responsibility is focused on both organizational outreach and student education. At Ginn, we partner with organizations to help them anticipate, mitigate, repair, and capitalize on future ethical challenges and opportunities. With a combination of speakers, roundtables, training, and innovative programming, Ginn helps organizations confront a wide array of ethical challenges and maintain their ethical environments with applied thinking, novel conceptualizations, and data-based approaches.

The Ginn Institute also helps to shape the next generation of leaders by providing students with opportunities to make a difference through internships at area non-profit organizations. Each year, the Ginn Institute sponsors students to work on organization processes and programs that affect all aspects of organizational life.
